As it is Magic Carpet enjoys high reputation in the auto shipping industry. I transported 3 vehicles in the last 3 months. Used Magic Carpet for the last two. My contact for both was Malia. The first car was transported from Los Angeles area to Carbondale IL. She offered the lowest price while maintaining a high level of service. There were other carriers competing for the job but she was able to pick it up sooner than anyone else. Very satisfied. When I needed a Miata moved from San Francisco to LA, of course I looked for her. Her price was the best of the herd and the car was picked up instantly after becomming available and dropped to my door same day. I couldn't help not writing this review.
Auto shipping is not simple, say, like a person travelling in a plane that follows a predetermined schedule. Carriers are running back and forth between points all over the country following no schedule whatsoever. Nobody can really tell you the exact day or time of pick up or delivery. Often times you are playing the waiting game on both sides of transit. Generally you draw a carrier by adding more dollars to the initial quote. Of course if you are lucky somebody might be going that route and they have just one spot left to fill. The only other way to cut down on the waiting time is the personnel at the brokerage like Magic carpet getting involved with their sleeves up, perpetually keep gluing the car, the carrier and the customer together. Constant gaze on a computer screen and an unending flurry of phone calls. Malia at Magic Carpet did just that and did it passionately without ever loosing her smile. If I owned a brookerage I'd be stealing her from Magic Carpet.
Oh, the drivers they use are incredibly reliable and responsible.
