Need to disclose terms up front

The move itself was great-driver was great. Customer service was outstanding right up to the point where the driver asked me for a check. I provided a credit card number for the deposit-there was no discussion of paying the driver with a check. I work two hours from home-had to scramble to get home and pay with a check. Think of how convenient it would be if I paid with a credit card and simply had to receive the car-this is what I thought I was signing up for.

Yesterday worked out okay after all was said and done-but I don't like surprises like that. When I called in to question this I didn't receive any assistance-I did receive some attitude however. If the check payment was disclosed to me it was in the "small print"-you might want to look at this.
