I used Magic Carpet because they had the best reviews. From the start, Crystal, my primary contact, made everything very easy. However, I received 4 emails noting different pickup dates, spread out by over a week, and did not receive a phone call.

I called to ask about the first email about the pickup date, which was for the same day I received a notification email. I spoke with Nicole, who said a more accurate ETA on the truck for pickup would be known to Magic Carpet within 30 minutes. I never heard back from Nicole, and I the truck never came.

I had a few more disappointments with Magic Carpet that I don't care to discuss. Communication was seriously lacking. Crystal did call however, when on the 5th attempt to get a truck, that trucking company apparently backed out.

I have mixed feelings about my experience with Magic Carpet. Obviously the car got here, and the whole process took about 2 weeks. Ironically, the trucker was more reliable and easier to get a hold of than any single person at Magic Carpet. Magic Carpet is obviously just a mediator/middle man that charges a fee for convenience, but it was very inconvenient for me. Once the truck is found, you deal with the trucker anyway, so what's the point in paying more?

Next time I ship a car, I will definitely look into other options. However, Magic Carpet was honest with me and I don't doubt their ability to get the job done.

Ryan, I do apologize for that lack of communication. We had several issues with rescheduling carriers, unfortunatly we are at the mercy of these truck drivers. I am glad to hear your vehicle arrived safely. Again I do apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused you. -Crystal Warner-
