car was originally agreed to be delivered to Pembina..After a couple of wks , a transport did pick it up but dropped it back down a short time later because the balance of the load cancelled..Nicole did not know that the seller told me this on Sat. & when I phoned her Mon. , she said the "truck broke down" & could not pick up..Either out right lie or she is just inexperienced..After "many" unreturned emails & ph. messages I had to get a friend to call on his phone" to request a quote" & she answered promptly.I must have left 20 unanswered calls..What a surprise! Since I purchased the car around Aug 18th & it was not being delivered over a month later,I asked her to get it going North somewhere..Long frustrating saga ended when I flew to Chicago & drove it 1000 miles home...I asked for a break on the original price but was told no, so it ended up costing me 2 days off work, & another$1000 in expenses ..Also, Magiccarpet & the trucker agreed to Sun. pick up , so I booked the flight....The very next A.M. , they changed to Tues.& I had to rebook...I arrived at Ohare 9:00 AM & truck was supposed to be there BY 10;30 am...He arrived around 5 pm..Once again they stopped answering the ph. or continue to delay things..If anyone ever uses Magiccarpet(they also have sister co.)in the future after this warning,be prepared for many deceptions , unanswered calls, & totally unprofessional dealings.You can ph. me for more details if you wish.I doubt whether I'll get my $50 rebate but this experience with Magiccarpet & Nicole was the most frustrating experience in my 40 yrs of business & not even $5000 would not sway me to say nice things about this shabby service ..Bob Sulkers , Winnipeg , Manitoba...
