I called Magic Carpet transport for a quote for a Ford F35o from Tenn, to either Denver or Albuquerque. The gave the same price for both cities, even though ABq is a much shorter trip. I called to discuss the quote and asked about why Abq wasn't cheaper, and Stepahnie said, "just a second, i'll check that" at which point she said, "oh thats right, it should be cheaper" and quoted me a price , less than before. I went with that price and we did the order. I never got this price via email, my mistake. But it was very clear about what price and what city we had agreed upon. Then three days later, they emailed and said my truck had been picked up and was on its way. It was not. It was 2 days later. When I did co nnect with the truck, I called Stephanie back and discussed confirmation of the price etc. as I had left numerous messages and never heard from her. When we did talk about it, she confirmed our conversation, but said she was going to Cancel my truck pick up. Even though, she knew I was correct, and that I had just told her I was picking up the truck in one hour. I called and emailed again and heard nothing. So I filled a dispute with my credit card company, emailed Magic Carpet and they said fine, dispute it, we will turn it over for collections.
I have shipped a lot of cars and never gone through this, but then never dealt with them.

Mary, I am sorry you didnt experience a five star service. I have went over the information with you via phone about what pricing we have talked about and it was cheaper for the route to CO, Not to NM. The quote for NM was auto Quoted threw our system. I wouldnt have changed that price, especially going lower on that. I am sorry if you had gotten a little confused with the prices for each of those locations.
