Contacted MagicCarpet to have my vehicle transported from MI to WA based on all the positive reviews on this website. Nicole was very nice and helpful in terms of providing quote and making changes. Since Nicole was promoted, other representatives were helping me, which weren't as helpful as Nicole.
However the actual experience was horrible since they used 3rd party (Speedy Auto Shipping - SAS) to make the delivery. The car was picked up ontime and , but the passenger side window was cracked (without any sharp point of contact) and the car's spoiler was ripped off from unloading the vehicle.
SAS insisted the damages were due to weather, which I told by Mercedes Rep, saying that the door glass is twice as thick as regular door glass and with excellent industrial strength which can't crack under extreme weather condition.
Tried to claim insurance from them was a nightmare, with unanswered calls, voice-mails, and emails. When they say the transport comes with insurance, think twice. Since they won't file the claim for you if something goes wrong.
