Magic Carpet quoted a price of $611. On the pickup date they still hadn't found a carrier yet, but felt that we would have better luck finding a carrier at a higher price. The actual move cost $959. They aren't actually at fault since their basic terms do not guarentee a pick up date. Still this quote was useless for comparison purposes since it was not in any way 'firm'. The final price was in line with previous moves of the same car and similar distances. The carrier was very good. The car was delivered in good time and undamaged (or at least with no new damage as far as I can tell).
