I bought a new car on ebay and was looking for a shipper to deliver it as soon as possible. I looked at many quotes but after speaking with several, it was obvious that it was going to take up to a 5 - 7 days to get the car picked up. I called the guy seller of the car and he was willing to store the car for me till then. I was lucky because it was stipulated on the ebay aucton that it be picked up within 5 days.

I found the quote from Tony at Majic Carpet and gave him a call. I also sent an email because I didn't have much time to waste. Tony returned my call within a couple of hours and took my information. He asked me to let him put it on the dispatch network and see when he could get it picked up.

He called back within the hour and asked me if the next day would be too soon. I said 'Who Hooo!'. Of course it would be great. I then called back the seller of the car to ensure he could get it ready in time. Tony had told me the driver would call them before pickup and he did. He picked the car up that evening and was going to deliver it to me in 2 days. I settled down to wait. This was a 1988 Porsche 928s4 one owner car and I was nervous. The sellers took pictures before the car was picked up and after it was loaded.

The next day around 6:00pm, the driver called and asked if he could deliver the car early. Once again 'Who Hoo!'. It arrived in just the same shape it was loaded in and there was no damage at all. My shipping experience was a good one for my first.
