Slow start, but overall I was pleased!

The only draw back I experienced was that the original quote was lower than what I actually ended up paying. It was difficult to find a carrier at the original rate quoted due to the car's location and final destination. It took nearly 3 weeks to find a carrier and by then in order for me to get my car in time, it was necessary for me to pay an additional $250. I was not thrilled with the rate increase BUT I completely understood as I had spoken with other carriers who explained that the route from Central Coast California to DC made it difficult to find a carrier and especially at a low rate. I am not sure that this is Magic Carpet's fault though which is why I still believe they deserve an excellent rating. Michelle was awesome to work with. She worked diligently to find me a carrier, always returned my calls, and kept me updated on her progress. Once Michelle found a carrier, he picked my car up within hours. My carrier was friendly, stayed in contact with me to let me know when to expect him and was pleasent to deal with in person. More importantly, my car made it without any trouble and aside from my car being dirty from the weather (not an issue) there were no problems. Overall, I would recommend Magic Carpet and will use them again if I ever need to transport my vehicle. Thank you!
