This was my first experience with car transporters, so I approached it with some apprehenison. After my daughter, the recipient of the car, research possible services, I selected Magic Carpet Auto Transport because of its consistently excellent ratings on review sites.
My first contact was requesting a quotation, which was right in the ballpark with a couple of other quotations I received. I selected Magic Carpet, again because it received consistent high marks.
The actual schedule was with Hillary, who provided extremely helpful service. She advised that scheduling might take up to 10 days, and when I told her we were leaving town shortly, she was able to place the shipment almost immediately.
Because we were shipping from a small city location outside Seattle, and were on a tight schedule, Hillary arranged for a pick-up at an easy location off the freeway. The pick-up driver was professional, and did a thorough inspection of the car.
The actual delivery was a few days later than expect, but we were updated regularly by Hillary and were aware that driving conditions could cause delays. Hillary kept us updated. The new delivery date created another problem in that the delivery was to be on a date when my daughter was involved in her monthly reserve weekend training. The driver worked out an accommodation with her and met her late on the scheduled date so that the transfer could be completed.
All in all, the entire shipment process was an excellent experience, and I would not hesitate to use Magic Carpet Auto Transport again.
