Maria, I am sorry to see this review since it is not completely honest nor even close to what transpired. All we ask for in our reviews is an HONEST review.
You booked this on 6/22/10 at 8:16am for $1270/$1220 after rebate with your first available date for pick-up being 7/4/10. It was explained to you in detail that it takes 1-10 business days typically to get your vehicle dispatched and picked up. Your vehicle was dispatched 6/22/10 at 10:16am (same day as booking) and scheduled for an estimated date of pick-up for 7/5/10, well within the 1-10 day window. Not only was your vehicle picked up on time but I fail to see where we ever raised your price. You booked at $1270 and the price remained the same to this very date. When I personally called you to inform you of the dispatch you were extremely happy and thanked me for such fast and friendly service. On the day before pick up I called the driver to confirm pick up for you and once again called you to let you know it would be picked up on time, you once again thanked me and seemed to be very happy. On 7/5/10 I called to confirm pick up had happened and you informed me it had and seemed very happy at this point also and thanked me for my professionalism. Do you see where I might be a bit confused by your review?
As for you having to call us, well I told you from the time of booking I do not call every customer every day. If I did this I would never have the time to get your vehicle moved. I did tell you that you were more than welcome to call me anytime you had a question or just wanted to check in and even provided you with my personal cell phone number for outside of business hours.
As for your delivery date. All dates are ESTIMATES and you were informed of this. We do not guarantee times or dates as this is simply impossible in this industry due to the fact we never know the circumstances or delays our carriers might encounter out on the road. Unfortunately your driver did encounter some problems with other customer's causing delays in their pick up and delivery times which made it impossible for him to meet the ESTIMATED date of arrival for your delivery. This was explained to you when you called in and I personally called and spoke with J-Rom and know they gave you a discount for the delay in your vehicle being delivered. I and my fellow associates were polite and professional at all times when you called in on a daily basis even sometimes numerous times in a day just to check in. We at Magic Carpet Auto Transport go out of our way to serve and accommodate our clients in every way possible. Unfortunately we cannot please 100% of the people 100% of the time, but I can assure you we give it our best and by our ratings and standing in this industry do a fine job of putting our best foot forward in customer service.
Your lack of total honesty in your review demands that my reply set matters straight. I am glad you have received your vehicle and wish you the very best in your endeavors.
