Even though I allowed over two weeks for delivery and a four day time gap for delivery, John was unable to find a driver for my car until so I was asked to pay an additional $120 from what I was quoted to get my car to Indiana the weekend I was scheduled to arrive. Also, there were several instances where John told me he would phone me with updates on a given day but he did not. Additionally, I was told that I could pack the back seat and the trunk so as long as the windows were not obstructed. When the driver came to pick up my car he told me he would not drive my car with my belongings in the backseat and asked for an additional tip to cover his troubles. All in all, I ended up paying an additional $180 from what I was initially quoted. My driver, Bob, was friendly and I felt like I could trust him, but he was not good with scheduling. He told me he would call on Friday to schedule a delivery time which he estimated between Friday and Monday. He actually called on Thursday when I arrived at my new home which was a pleasant surprise. He scheduled a delivery time for Sunday between 1-2. When he didn't contact me on Sunday, I called and he said he was running behind and would arrive between 3-4. After a long afternoon of waiting, Bob did call me an hour before he arrived but that was not until 9:00. The car did not arrive at my house until 10:30pm. Overall, I am satisfied with the transport of my vehicle, but I feel that there were many other factors that only added additional stress to my move. I initially chose Magic Carpet because of their good reviews and reasonable cost. But given the extra amount of money I spent on top of my initial quote- it broadens the number of companies I could use greatly.

Jennifer, sorry we didn't earn a 5 STAR review and that it took an additional amount from our quote. John
