I did a thorough research into transport companies and finally went with Magic Carpet. My time was quite tight, since I flew to Wisconsin to help my daughter move back to California and she had to be out of her apartment. I made arrangements nearly 4 months in advance, but as it closed in on the actually date, I got back in touch with John. He was always very honest and forthright with information and worked hard to find someone who would accommodate my timetable. I became a bit nervous when the driver was suppose to call us a day or two before the pick up, but John was really good about tracking him down and having the driver get in touch, and everything went very smoothly. The driver was very nice. The only hitch for me was that I had requested to pay everything by credit card (discussed at the beginning of my confirming with Magic Carpet) and this fact was forgotten, so it threw me into a tizzy upon my return home when I really didn't have the time to make sure that my ducks were in a row for a cashiers check, and I had requested to have the final price emailed to me, which didn't happen. After the car was picked up, I was suppose to have received a call from Magic Carpet as to the progress of the transport, but it was the driver that called. All in all, I would definitely use Magic Carpet again, but I would just make sure that the details were squared away in an email, with could serve as a reminder email as well.
