For me everything went well on this move, Michelle Henricksbo, the broker representative for Magic Carpet transport co. was very helpful as this was my first time using a car transport co.
I talked to many (about 12) other trans. company's before I found Magic carpet co. and found most not very helpful by directing me to cheaper open transporter trailers instead of the closed trailer transporters my car with its good paint job needed. Some of the brokers seemed like secretary's not knowledgeable enough to give me more complete options and one was even rude and hung up on me when I asked about his company's customer satisfaction! Before I found Michelle I was very frustrated and because of that I wasted a lot of time calling about other options like trailer or truck it up myself!
Mr. Brooks, the actual driver was great too. his transport trailer was clean, safe and secure.
Magic carpet was even helpful when I had second thoughts about moving my convertible from the sunny dry climate of Santa Barbara to the wet rainy climate of Oregon! They told me the options without any added stress or pressure and that's when I decided to play with the car for a year or so in Oregon and then ship it back to California in another year or so if I still felt the need to drive all year around in a sunny climate, because I now was familiar with and confident that I had found a transport co. I could trust!
