I have have many cars transported across the country in the past 10 years. Most have been good experiences. Dealing with Magic Carpet was a nightmare from beginning to the end, and is still on going. First they misses 2 pick up dates, and with no communications from them, I had to contact the person storing my car to find out that they never showed up TWICE. Next, the quoted me a total out the door of $850, not inclusive of a $50 dollar. When it was all said an done, the total bill came to over $1100. But I had no choice, they had my car. Corp stated it was the fault of a broker they had hired but had to fire due to the same lack of communications and dishonesty that was tagged to me, was also tagged to many many other customers. At this point they have said if I want my overcharge refunded, that I have to sue them. Which works out for me due to the fact that I am the only one in my family who is not a judge or lawyer.
