Transporting a vehicle was a first for me, and I was quite overwhelmed with the number of companies out there and the range of quotes I received (from 590-1200).My instinct was to go with the cheapest company, but I found a website that listed transport company reviews and Magic Carpet ranked at/near the top. I had a quote from them for 1079 and so I called and spoke to Blaine and he explained the process at a very basic level. He found a truck to take our vehicle even earlier than he'd thought...which was fine with us. The only thing I didn't like about this process had to do with the trucking company. It was my understanding that we were supposed to get some paperwork from them (proving we gave them the truck), but we never did. The drivers said they'd fax us something the next day, but never did. And at the other end, my in-laws asked how much they owed the truckers (even though I'd told them), and the truckers didn't know. They paid in cash, and the truckers didn't have a receipt to give them. BUT my experience with Magic Carpet was great, the truck arrived in the same condition it left, and I would definitely use them again. Overall...very very pleased.
