Right from the first call, this company stood out from other companies I contacted. My rep, – Sheila – took a lot of time to answer all my questions thoroughly and was very knowledgeable as to how both the industry in general and Magic Carpet operate. She was forthright and I never felt that she was trying to mislead or pressure me for the sake of making a sale. Though the price she quoted me was higher than most, I settled with this company for the peace of mind – because of the high standards that Sheila assured me of.
When I encountered a minor snag during the pickup, I was able to contact my rep – even in off-hours, and she was very quick to respond to get the issue resolved; and she followed up to ensure my satisfaction. Though pickup and delivery were later than estimated, my rep had made it very clear to me that it was only an estimate; and I understood that any number of factors could affect the carrier's ability to arrive at the pickup/drop-off points "on time". In the end, the vehicle was delivered safely and in an acceptable amount of time; I was treated with courtesy by everyone I spoke to at Magic Carpet (and by the driver); and I received excellent customer service! They lived up to the high standards I had been promised.
The only caveat I would add is that "door-to-door" delivery service stated by this or any other transport company is not necessarily truly door-to-door. My pickup and drop-off points were both in residential neighborhoods and we had to arrange nearby locations for both that could accommodate the large car carrier. Finding a location to drop the vehicle off was somewhat challenging as it was being delivered in a smaller town.
If ever I need to transport a vehicle again, Magic Carpet is the company I will call.
