Gary,
I understand your frustrations toward the driver. I get frustrated with the drivers from time to time but I try to visualize the difficulties and obstacles that they might have to overcome along the route. The rating is for Magic Carpet and myself not for the transport company. I am a broker and I try to help my customers by staying in contact and help with any problems that are in my control. I don't have any control over the driver or his truck mechanical status. You gave me a 2 star rating with lows in knowledge and honesty. How was I dishonest with you?( 1 STAR) I only charged you $230 instead of our normally fee of $350 because when I originally sent you the enclosed quote I didn't change the deposit so I gave you the $120 discount. You asked me if their was a good chance that it would be delivered before the 25th and I said yes but couldn't guarantee the delivery date and if not by the 25th then after the 1st. Gary can you show me where I was dishonest with you? Because looking at our email correspondence I can't find a dishonest statement. You also rated me low on knowledge. The knowledge I had on the trucking company and driver I gave to you. Any other questions I thought I responded with an answer. Gary what rating would have you gave me if your car arrived on the estimated delivery date of 12/23/10 and was clean and undamaged? My commissions are based on customer reviews and if I dropped the ball with an issue within my control then I may deserve a low rating. In this situation I don't feel I deserve the rating I received. Have you filed a claim for the damage on your car? Do you want me to get you information so you can file a claim. The insurance claim is against the trucking company but I can get you the filing information.
