My experience here was good overall. The only hangup I had was a price increase after the deal had been made. I think this was a pretty standard ploy to get a few more dollars. The way it works is the broker calls you to say he needs another $100 dollars to get a hauler but he'll put up half out of his commission. The only reason I feel like this had been done to me is I agreed to the price hike and then the first hauler we had lined up backed out. A few days later they lined me up with another driver and the same thing happened. I got a call from the broker saying the hauler needed a little more money. I said use the money from the last guy that was supposed to haul it. I was told that money stayed on the bid for this new driver and they still needed more. Anyway, as a first time customer to the car hauling industry Magic Carpet was fair to me, especially the man Greg that I worked with.

Greg Bailey Greg@MagicCarpetAutoTransport.com...Scott...the truck that you were transporting was a 3500 witha 12 inch lift and swamper mudder tires. When I took your order in you stated that the truck was stock, with no modifications. Our first carrier, when he showed up for pickup, could not fit you on the transport. You took off the lift, and had to make other arrangements to transport your tires from Florida. Our second carrier, took only your vehicle on her transport and you incurred a minimal charge for the weight of your vehicle with the nine inch lift still on your truck. Their is not a ploy whatsoever to charge you or any customer more than what is originally quoted. Based upon your trucks modifications you received a gift from us having your vehicle transported at the rate you received. You were treated more than fairly and your cost would have been double with any other company.
