Raised the price day before pick up

The initial estimate was 860$ (more that most of the other companies, but I went with them because of their good rating), I placed order about 2 weeks before planned pick up day. For 3-4 days before pick up day I was calling them every day and nobady new when my car will be picked up, 1 day before arranged pick up day (Friday before Memorial day weekend) I finally received phone call that my car will be picked up the next day but price is higher 160$ because they had trouble to find carrier due to rare route, although the driver next day said that the whole truck is going to Oklahoma and he does not need to do any special arrangements. Car arrived one day late that I was told by company representative, luckily in good shape. So overall I overpaid and did not get good service, would not recommend.

Magda, I am sorry to hear that you had felt that you had overpaid for your auto transport. The carrier had requested an additional amount and i called you with the offer from the carrier. The route UT to OK is a very rare route and what they request is out of our control, However, we DO NOT require you to take the offer from the carrier. It is up to you once the order has been placed. Also, the reason for the carrier requesting the additional amount was because he siad that he was going a little off his route to get the vehicle. I did explain to you that because of setting your available dates during memorial weekend that it could delay things of gettting the vehicle picked up because not all of the carriers are working through the holiday weekend. So i figured since i had got the offer from the carrier i would run it by you before we had past your perferred dates. Again, i am sorry you didnt feel that our company was able to give you a five star experience.
