Hi Michele,
Were sorry things did not go so smooth for your transport. In your review praising the other company you say we didnt have a driver for you 2 days before your pick-up date...... in the review you wrote for us you say we did not have one for you and you had waited until your pick-up date had passed which is just not true.We asked you give us until the end of the day and told you we would have something ...not to worry we still had 2 more days.We always let everyone know drivers dont schedule until about 3-7 day before your pick-up date ,so they dont promise dates they cant keep. We had carriers we were speaking with and we were working on ironing out the details. We wanted to make sure you got a fair rate. We all use central dispatch and other load boards to locate carriers . No matter which broker you go with we all have the same pool of drivers. We would have got you the same driver ,and with out lining another brokers pocket, or being deceptive about the route.or the cost. if it was such a tough route how come you ended up with a driver in a hour .Simple offer a very high premium instead of working to get the consumer the best bang for there buck. We understand it is tough to remain patient while waiting for the coordination of your vehicle because it can be stressful ,but if you would have hung tight we would have had a positive resolution for you . Again sorry for the inconvenience, and thank-you for the oppourtunity to serve you . You were tricked by the other broker ....................................................
Here is Micheles review for the other broker. . http://transportreviews.com/review/00137502.asp...........................................................I was trying to transport my daughter's car from El Paso TX to Burlington VT. I had made arrangements with another company to transport the car a month before we were leaving. TWO days before we were leaving to fly out to Vermont, that company had still not found transport for the car (although they kept reassuring me they would and to stop worrying). At that time I contacted Jeff from AmeriFreight. He was straight up with me about the difficulty of the route (a question I had asked the first company about but was told it was not problem). Due to the lateness of the request the cost was higher ($1,645), but I was just glad to find someone who could get the job done. He had a carrier for me within an hour who could pick up the car the NEXT DAY!!! The carrier called me an hour later with a pick up time. The next day they were there at exactly the time they said they would be there. My daughter's car arrived safe and sound two days before the estimated delivery time (it took 9 days). I cannot thank Jeff enough for his kindness and understanding with my stress. In an hour he was able to accomplish what the first company could not do in a month. Jeff you are my hero!
Sincerely ,
Tony
