I chose Mercury Transport based on other reviews, being my first time using an auto transporter. My rep was Jim Gozde, he was very patient and honest. As he said , you get what you pay for. I thought $599 was a fair price to pay for a nonworking, small car from DC to New York. I got all kinds of quotes ranging from as little as 389.00 up to a $1,000. The transport company he chose was unreliable and kept giving me all kinds of stories. Finally after eight days my car arrived in good order, thank goodness. The one good thing about the entire ordeal was that I was able to speak to Jim everyday to find out what was going on. He was right there with me all the way. He returned all my phone calls and emails and did follow ups with the drivers to help expedite matters. I don't know how I would have fared had it not been for his diligence. Thanks Jim for hanging in there, but dump Legit Transport guys.
