I chose Mercury after having to cancel with another company (they'd taken a very long time and had only found me a rate far above average market rate.) I chose Mercury for it's transparency, extensive customer info on it's website, and frequent communication. My agent, Alec Villegas, answered all my questions and usually responded very quickly. There was a slight hiccup in that my car was delivered two days after the "no later than" delivery date and I was not given an update about this fact-- I spent the weekend worrying about what happened and looking out the window every five minutes. However, the driver, Ivan, made an effort to get it there two days late, instead of a potential three, by driving late into the night to bring me my car, right to my door. The car arrived exactly as I had left it, with only a little extra dirt. The price I ended up paying was reasonable and about the same as the quotes I'd received elsewhere.
