Shipping a personal vehicle is a very stressful process. I have done it several times in my lifetime. This most recent time started like most, a nightmare. Receiving dozens of quotes from strangers - most of them way out of my budget. Of course I chose the cheapest one and connected with a broker who promised the world, and pressured me to send-in my deposit so that a carrier can be arranged immediately. The usual "bait and catch" trick, and I fell for it. Long story short, after several attempts to get me to agree to pay $150-$200 more than they originally quoted me over a period of two weeks, I decided to give someone else a try. That's when I went back through the dozen quotes and reread Sam Golden's email quote from Mercury Auto Transport. His email explained the car shipping process in detail and alerted the reader about the "tricks of the trade", like the one I fell for. Sam quoted me a price which is 4% higher than my cheapest quote. Within a couple of days, Sam had lined-up 2 carriers at the originally quoted rate. He arranged for my car to be picked up in a very tight time window. My car was picked up in San Francisco on a Tuesday afternoon and arrived in Kissimmee Florida the following Monday - 3 days ahead of my expectations. I highly recommend using Mercury Auto Transport for your car shipping needs. And also working with Sam Golden, he is an excellent communicator.
