Mercury was great - worked through some tricky issues!

Shipping a car is a surprisingly obtuse and complicated process, fraught with opportunities for brokers to rip you off. The thing I really like about Mercury is that they understand this, and go to great lengths to help you understand exactly what they do, how they interface with you, and how they interface with the hauling company that actually transports your car. Anybody who quotes a move will be a Central Dispatch Broker. So you need to understand what that means if you want to understand the process and make sure you're not getting a bad deal. My rep Ronnie was great - honest and responsive. He took time to explain the whole process of working with a Central Dispatch Broker. After I chose Mercury, Ronnie quickly found a hauler. But then the hauler had some trouble with weather and mechanical issues that set the scheduling back into a time when I was out of town. Ronnie continued to interface between me and the driver to set up a "blind drop" where I didn't need to be home. Considering the complications, it couldn't have gone better. I came home from my trip and my car was there waiting for me. I will almost certainly ship more cars in the future, and I will go straight back to Mercury.
