I needed to transport a car from CA to VA. I initially made the mistake of signing up on a website that sold my lead to every transport company. It was really confusing, irritating experience as I was getting phone, text and emails from what seemed like dozens of companies. I ended up going with Mercury mostly because of the reviews I read. They were not the cheapest and when the actual quote came in, it was higher than what I was initially quoted. Having said that, Mercury as a broker makes a set fee which they charge you upfront. The rest of the monies is all going to the actual trucking company. Mercury for their fees did follow up to make sure the trucking company was performing and picked up the car on time and delivered as promised. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience. Since there is no choice but to go thru the brokers to find the actual trucking company, I would recommend Mercury as a broker. They were competent and did a satisfactory job.
