Shipping 2 cars from Irvine, CA to central NJ. Initially engaged another company and they were unable to arrange a truck and driver for pick-up over 8 days. Never received updates and I had to initiate contact on a couple of occasions. All they would tell me is they were working on it.
I then cancelled and spoke with William at Mercury on Wednesday evening of une 5th and engaged his company, Mercury. That same evening William called back to let me know he had located a driver and truck to pick up both my cars on Thursday, June 6th. Both cars were picked up Thursday evening around 9:30PM in Irvine. They arrived and were delivered to me in Central NJ on Monday evening June 10th at 9:30PM. Both cars were in great shape without damage. This was a great experience without any hiccups, totally uneventful with William and Mercury.
William was great in explaining to me what was going on in the transport industry at the time with a high demand for shipping cars pushing prices up. Drivers could pick and choose. I paid a little higher price than the other transport carrier was quoting but Mercury's fee was significantly less than the other auto shipper. I paid $200.00 more per vehicle but I would have paid the same amount to the other carrier to get my cars shipped timely. I had used William and Mercury 2x previously but initially lost their contact information and couldn'g remember it was Mercury that I used. Will not make that mistake again. I highly recommend William at Mercury and have had 3 great experiences with them over the past 3 years.
