I purchased a car from a gentleman in Pennsylvania, and needed to bring it to my home in South Texas. This was my first time having to transport a car, and it was pretty scary trying to find someone that was honest and dependable to do business with.
I received a ton of quotes, and soon learned that many transport companies will quote you a low price, to get your business, then will basically change the price on the fly, claiming that's what it takes to get the car picked up. Or, they will ask for a depost, before they even schedule the pickup of your vehicle.
After dealing with that type of nonsense for a while, I finally got lucky found Jim Gozde at Mercury Auto Transport. Jim was wonderful to deal with; he took the time to explain the intricacies of the auto transport business to me, so I would know the variables that would affect the cost of moving my car. He didn't try to hide anything from me, and he didn't offer a lowball price to get my business. He also didn't charge me one cent, until my car was actually picked up.
Jim was honest and fortright, and basically gave me all my options, so I was able to choose the maximum price I was willing to pay to have the car moved withing the time frame I wanted. He kept reminding me of all my options, telling me I could save some money if I was willing to move the time frame back, etc.
Also, Jim kept in constant contact with me, by phone and by email, to give me daily status updates on my transaction, such as pickup schedule, estimated delivery date, etc. My car arrived on time, in great shape, and with no damage. I would recommend Jim and Mercury Auto Transport, without hesitation, and would definitely use them again!
