Excellent explanation of rates and excellent service

Although I received many quotes for transporting my car to my mother in Florida, some were more helpful than others in explaining the charges for this service. However, by far the most helpful was Mercury Auto Transport which explained the per mileage charge by the carriers. Unlike virtually every other broker that bid to transport my car, Mercury explained that the per mile charge was based on cost to the carriers and therefore would affect how enthusiastic the carriers would be to pick up my car based on what was being offered. However, Lisa Rice of Mercury suggested that since my car was smaller and lighter than the average car, a carier might be as enthusiastic to deliver it at a lowerc price as they would be to pick up a heavier, larger car at a higher per mile price. Mercury suggested we put out an offer $100 below all the other brokers suggestion. The offer was excepted almost immediately and I was able to get the car to my mother in excellent condition for anywhere from $50 to $100 less than all other brokers bid.
The car was picked up the day after the offer was accepted and the car was actually delivered one day earlier than I had been told.
