This was my first experience with Auto Tranport service and after receiving hordes of phone calls and no less than 100 emails, I quickly became very skeptical about thia business. I was transporting a vehicle that I purchased online. The auto was to be shipped from Arizona to NJ. Mercury provided me with one of the lower quotes for vehicle transport ( $795) I placed an online order with Mercury Auto Transport at 10 pm Friday evening. I spoke with Josh via phone at 12 noon on Saturday. At 2 pm, he had arranged transportation. I had requested an open carrier but an enclosed carrier was immediately available. I agreed to have the vehicle transported at a minimal cost increase than originally quoted for an open carrier ( and still less than most of the other broker quotes that I received for an open carrier) . I could have waited for an open carrier but Mercury was able to negotiate a great rate for ME, so I chose the enclosed carrier. The vehicle was shipped for $850. The vehicle was picked up from the seller early Tuesday morning and I recevied the vehicle 3 days later. The trucker called me the night before delivery, 1 hour before our rendez vous and then again when he arrived at the determined destination. I believe that Mercury provides accurate quotes and will make arrangements to have vehicles transported at fair rates.
