I had a very positive experience. I worked with Theo, who was conscientious and on top of everything. Given the service I received, my quote was very reasonable. Mikway is a logistics company, so they aren't the ones actually doing the shipping, but they will handle all the coordination and carry their own insurance independent of the carriers they actually use. I have used some of those large shipping aggregation hubs, and fielding all the emails and questions is pretty time-consuming. I have now shipped with Mikway 3 times. Out of two of those times, my quote was equal or better to what I would have gotten by using one of them. This was a lot less hassle and my time is worth something. When using those other websites, the carriers often will quote you a low price and jack you at the last minute. There was only one small issue with this from my original quote with Theo. It wasn't as common of a route and had to bump it by $50. Which isn't terrible and I was prepared for it. On another one, he was able to save me an additional $25 off the original quote AND able to find someone who would ship my bike enclosed for the same price as open transport. I was impressed with how well Theo stayed on top of everything and kept the pressure on the carriers to keep their quotes as agreed. Every time I shipped with them my bikes arrived in great shape with no issues. Almost all the pickups were on time and only one time was a delivery late and that was by about 12 hours. My experiences have been excellent with Theo @ Mikway.
