This company should be put out of business! As a Soldier in the Army, this was my second use of a vehicle shipping company. My biggest regret is that I didn't GOOGLE reviews of MOBILE Transport INC after being told by Direct Auto Express (the National Service used to locate a local carrier) that they had been assigned my contract.

Bottom line up front, this is a FLY BY Night company, a collection of amatuers posing as a business. They will not return calls, they are pushy, they hold your car hostage and they will DAMAGE your car. They are Eastern European (likely Belarus or Russian) immigrants who don't give a second thought to anything but getting their payment.

I was contacted by Mobile Transport INC (MTI) and scheduled pickup with a gentlemen who barely spoke english and had a HEAVY Russian/Balkan accent. We scheduled the pickup for Tues and after ending the call, I looked at my Girlfriend and said "There's no way these guys are going to keep their appointment." Right as rain, they called Tuesday afternoon and said they had to reschedule for later in the week. I told them "You get one more chance or I'll go with a new company." They requested a day I was not available and we ultimately settled on Wed at 6pm.

I called Direct Auto Express and complained about the missed appointment. I did not have day after day to miss work in order to meet these schiesters. The only negative aspect of my encounter with DAE was that they told me "This is a reputable company we do business with all the time." They offered to assign me a new carrier, but after their reassurance, I thought we'd be ok.

At 3pm on Wed, their truck showed up with no advanced telephone call. We were supposed to be away from our house but only because the city lost power the previous day, we were there. I told the driver "what are you doing here without calling first. You're lucky we're here, you aren't supposed to be here until 6pm." He responded in such a way that I wanted to punch him. He says "three, four, five, six, what's the difference? This is easier!"

They took the car and headed east. I sent a money order to the destination point of contact who was to pay them when the car arrived. When the company called to begin arranging drop off, I felt like my car was being held hostage. They wanted to show up at the drop off address after 10pm. The point of contact had to work at 4am so I told the woman at MTI they could not arrive that late.

First off, they NEVER answered their phone at MTI so we left messages that went unreturned. After the second day of waiting for a callback, I called DAE and was given another number. That number rang into a voicemail alert message saying "the mailbox you reached is full" and was then disconnected. Finally we tried the first number again but we BLOCKED the number we were calling from. When we did this they finally answered. The bitch we were talking to was yelling at me and there were children crying in the background. She told me "we can't guarantee anything" so I told her "then I can't guarantee payment when you get into Alabama".

I involved DAE again and told them I wanted my account documented, that I felt like my car was being held hostage and I was unhappy. The car was eventually dropped off at 9pm with MTI not being willing to budge. When we picked our car up and got inside it, it was filthy. It had been driven 10 miles. We started the car and it began to smoke. We immediately, after only being in town for 2 hours, took the car to a Mazda dealership. They put it on their racks and when the car dried off, we saw it was coated in oil and I mean COATED! From front to back and all over the undercarriage. The car had to be extensively detailed.

I called the 1-800 service, DAE to ask for compensation. They said they agreed that I should be compensated but I should get my refund from MTI. I told them no, they booked these people they need to accept responsibility for the outcome. I was not going to be played between 2 different companies.

Bottom line, this cost us tons of time and extra money. I will NEVER use MTI again and if given the chance will go to great lengths to cause this company hardship and difficulty.
