I hired Montway based on a previous transaction I had with them, and the positive reviews they had. Well I quickly learned that a large carrier will have more good reviews to off set the bad ones.

This transport started out bad and just got worse. Montway subbed it out to a 3rd party carrier, D&J Car Haulers. They were late picking up, it was supposed to be a 3 day transport. Carrier decided to stay over for the 4th and claimed the truck broke down. When I asked where it was being repaired to verify they got rude and stopped taking my calls. They left my car in a truck stop parking lot on the trailer for almost two weeks. Montway did nothing to get it moved in a timely manor. Montway claimed that they could not find another carrier. I posted it to Uship and had a half dozen carriers willing to pick it up. Then Montway claimed it could not be taken off teh truck to be put on another one.

When it finally did move again, they told me it was a different carrier only to find out it was not!!! False information!!! They also offered a $50.00 refund which I never got, I shouldn't have had to pay anything. The car shoudl have arrived to me on 7/2 or 7/3, I finally got it on 7/12.

Do yourself a favor, ask a lot of questions and document them with email communication barbecue they will deny telling you want you want to hear.
