My overall experience was close to excellent! I appreciate Montway brokering the deal for me to locate a driver to transport my daughter's car from Atlanta to Maryland but frankly could have done without the costly middle man.

I soon found out after paying my deposit and completing the shipping information that dealing with other companies direct could have saved me $200. But reading scary reviews online and not knowing what I'd get. I went with Montway.

My shipping request was initiated, contracted to the shipper and I was notified by email within 12 hours. My order confirmation included the name and phone number of both a dispatcher and the driver, Jose Rivera. I called the dispatcher first to determine an estimated time of pick-up. The dispatcher I was instructed to contact in the order had no idea who or what I was talking about so I'm not exactly sure why Montway would include him as someone to contact for arranging pick-up. This was the only problem I had with Montway in the process.

I then called the driver, Jose. He was very courteous on the phone and told me his itinerary leading up to pick up. We targeted a specific time for his arrival in Atlanta to pick up the car from my daughter. He then called me when he was within 4 hours of his arrival to give a more definitive time. I notified my daughter who only had a small window to work with as she needed to catch a flight out. Jose was right on time for the vehicle pick-up, with plenty of time for my daughter to make her flight. They completed the paperwork, he loaded the vehicle and both were on their way.

Jose had already informed me in our initial conversation of his plan to stay overnight in Atlanta to get more vehicles arranged for transport prior to returning to Maryland since at the time, ours was the only order he had. I understood his desire to make the trip economically worth his while. I was fine with that and not in any big hurry to get the vehicle to me. Next day, I was in touch with Jose, again with an estimated window of arrival and then again when he was 30 mins out. I coordinated a drop point at a shopping center within a mile of my house.

Even when I gave Jose the address of the shopping center and left off a key direction point of the address which resulted in him arriving on time but 4 miles away, he was still pleasant and courteous about the mix-up. Within 10 minutes of our meet up, I had signed and had the vehicle in my possession. From start to finish, my transaction and transport took a total of 72 hours.

I have to say that the experience was made great specifically due to the professionalism and demeanor of the driver. If you ever need vehicle transport services, remember the name Jose Rivera. He is worth every bit of the money spent for no hassle and prompt, courteous service. I HIGHLY recommend.
