Why can't the driver drop the motorcycle off in front of my house?

It took a week to get my motorcycle. The driver changed the delivery date 3 time. First it was a day later than it was supposed to be. Then he said it would be here at 2pm. He came and delivered the motorcycle at 6:30pm. When I got it was very dirty and on the sidewalk instead of the road. The driver refused to drop it off in front of my house. I had to go out side of my gated community. So I had to walk a 1/2 mile to my motorcycle and walk away with it another 1/2 mile back to my house. That was really tiring for me.
