This was the first time I had a car transported. I learned that you go through a broker, which arranges for a trucking company to transport the vehicle. There are many brokers out there and it was hard to determine which broker to use. I had bad feelings about some of the brokers I spoke to, I felt like they weren't being honest. I never could get a straight answer from them and the quote they gave always seemed to go up. My Chevy dealer told me they use Montway Auto Transport. I contacted Montway for a quote and to discuss the process. I didn't make arrangements for a few weeks because I was still doing some research. The entire process made me nervous and I even considered driving the car instead of getting it transported.
I decided to use Montway Auto Transport and was happy about the outcome. The trucking company, Stallion Express showed up on time, the driver was a very nice young man named Cole. He delivered the car on time and in the same condition as when he picked it up. Montway Auto Transport did not raise the quoted price, the car was picked up and delivered the day they said it would happen. I did forget to ask for a copy of the bill of lading, which is a very important piece of paper. The truck driver should automatically give a copy to the person at point of pick up and delivery. I contacted Montway and advised them that I did not receive a copy of the bill of lading, so that they could make a note of what was stated on the bill of lading. I would use Montway Auto Transport again. Thank you for transporting my car safely.
