Car transport broker review - Charged extra compared to the initial quote

Car got delivered earlier than estimated time without any issues. Same driver who picked up my car came for delivery and he gave advanced heads up with a time in which he is going to deliver. And he came on time, there by saving my time. So I'll give 5 ratings to the MV Transport who has done the move.
But since this is a review for the Montway, who were the brokers who arranged me the movers, I'm reducing the rating to 3. Montway was good that they arranged good moving company finally, and process was transparent. But the bad part was that they demanded $150 extra than what was estimated in the last day. I gave them 3 dates and told that it cannot go later than the last day. Didn't receive any call from them for the 1st 2 days. Finally on the day before last day, they said they can arrange one mover if I'm ready to give $150 extra.
I felt like this is less honesty on their part because to me it looks like they used the fact that I cannot keep my car beyond that date. As I was leaving Chicago next day, I had no choice but to give that amount extra.
And one last comment is about how this auto transport works currently - Looks like I'll get confirmation only couple of days earlier than the earliest pick up date, even though we plan it well ahead of time. That seems like a bad thing to me in general, which can end up with high payment in the last minute.
