Unreliable. Montway did not carry out commitment to pick up my car per my agreement which was made a week and half prior to the agreed to pick up last available date. Calls from them insuring me of the service did not result in it happening.

We are truly sorry to have lost your business. It is imperative that customers have a clear understanding of the terms they accept as we are transparent with them. Our terms can be found on our, Uship profile, website and all written communication thereafter. We have nothing to hide and want customer and/or potential customer to have a clear understanding on our terms so they can make any necessary personal arrangements. Our goal is to transport your vehicle, never to inconvenience our customers in any way. Please note that, the available loading date provided 3/15 is considered as "first available shipping date" and it is not your ultimate loading date! Allow typically one to five business days for pick-up of your vehicle starting from the "first available shipping date". Even though our estimations are highly accurate, just over 95%, we still inform customers we can only provide estimated dates. Earning the recognition of being named top 500 Inc fastest growing companies in America, We certainly do not benefit from an unsatisfied customer. We have shown commitment to providing dedicated service to each order that is booked and are sorry to hear that the reviewer felt otherwise, which lead to a cancelled order. Our dispatch/ support department worked hard closely with carrier companies and were doing our best to accommodate the customer’s request. We understand that the reviewer booked their order in advance but carriers do not schedule vehicles that far ahead as they cannot predict what will happen along the way per the many factors causing delays listed above. Placing an order a week and a half ahead of time may seem helpful, however in the auto transport industry, schedules are not pre-made that far in advance, their availability fluctuates daily, therefore so does their pricing. Please note that dates are only estimated in the auto transport industry for many reasons- Traffic delays, detours, speed limits, weather delays, mandatory rest stops, pickup/delivery client availability delays, weight station checkups, police inspections, truck breakdowns, driver's health issues, are just some of the issues that cannot be anticipated. We understand this is potentially inconvenient for customers, and we do our best to keep our customers informed. Records show the customer booked their order 3/9/17, with a first available ate of 3/15/17. As stated above the first available date is not the actual booking date and to please allow up to 1-5 business days from the first available date to assign a carrier. On 3/17 we reached out to the customer with an option for a carrier interested in transporting their vehicle, the customer refused this option (which was only an option we could have kept on looking) and cancelled the order. This was only 2 days into the requested 1-5 business days that Montway requests. We regret to have not had the opportunity to transport the reviewer’s vehicle and hope that this explanation makes it a little easier to understand the auto transport industry. We hope to have another chance in the future. Thank you for your time.
