We did everything in our power to assist however there were significant obstacles preventing us from successful mediation that consequently resulted in the insurance company rejecting the claim.
The contents of the review are inaccurate as the claim was rejected by M & M Auto because the damages were reported 11 days after delivery.
The vehicle was delivered on 1/24/2017, damages were reported on 2/4/2017 - 11 days after delivery, meaning the vehicle was out of the motor carrier's possession for an extended period of time, leaving no means to validate when this damage may have occurred or attribute it to transport. The first time damage photos were received was on 2/8/2017, which is 15 days after delivery, meaning there was an additional extended period of time hindering validation.
The customer designate, accepted and signed the delivery bill of lading without notating of any exceptions.
Our goal is always to assist our customers, however customers also bear responsibility in the transaction to be proactive...we urge customers, please be diligent in inspecting your vehicle, document the problem and above all else, notify the proper parties immediately, do not wait 11 days.
