Mr. Azamat Smailov was the driver who picked up my vehicle in New Mexico. This gentleman was extremely conscientious and thorough in examining and loading my vehicle. He advised that the vehicle would be delivered to the Port in Los Angeles the very next day. I doubted that he could deliver it that soon, but he held true to his word and it was delivered to Matson in Long Beach the next day. He then emailed me pictures of the vehicle in the Matson lot on Pier 3. Mr. Smailov was an excellent example of how services should be rendered. Once the vehicle was received by Matson, their tracking system worked very well as promised. The only concern I had during this entire transaction was that a hurricane was threatening LA while my car was sitting on the pier in Long Beach. I was concerned about damage from the hurricane. I was informed that if the vehicle was damaged someone would have notified me. The tracking system worked well and the GPS system on the vehicle helped me identify where my vehicle was located and I was updated on the tracking system whenever the vehicle was moved. The vehicle arrived in Hawaii without any damage almost two weeks sooner than the estimate. I will use Montway again if I need to transport a vehicle.
