Overall a very good experience. Really liked the ability to get quick response from a human through their website. They didn't always have answers, but did follow up quickly to get answers. Since I was not on any deadline with this vehicle, the delay from placing the order until the actual pickup date (appx. 2 1/2 weeks) was not a problem. Had there been a time constraint, I would have likely cancelled and made other plans. Salesman who took my order was attentive, friendly, easy to communicate with. His original estimation of pickup time was a bit optimistic. Much better to "under promise and over deliver". Makes for happier customers. The other item I wasn't entirely happy about was a "bump" as they say in the auto sales business. Quoted one price, then quoted a slightly higher price after I paid the deposit. It was never entirely clear why the bump. Something about a weekend pickup - which did not happen. It was only $50 so I paid it. Again, not the best way to do business. The driver was great. Having been a commercial auto transporter myself in the past, I know what to look for, and saw all the obvious indications of a conscientious man. He took all the time he needed to safely handle my vehicle and was a gentleman as well. Very friendly and communicative. He took the time to contact me twice enroute so I was fully aware of when he would arrive. Would be happy to recommend and use Montway again.

Montway does our best to quote accurate market pricing however, drivers may request additional funds for certain services, such as weekend pick-up or delivery. It seems maybe the driver anticipated a Saturday delivery but arrived early - dates are estimated and are subject to change at any time and this can result in early or late pick-up or delivery. We are very glad to hear that everything else went well and that the driver took care of your vehicle and provided great communication. We hope to be of service again in the future!
