DENIED DAMAGE CLAIM

We contacted Monty McElroy of Monty's Auto Delivery to transport 2 vehicles from Portland, Or to Palm Coast, Florida. One of the vehicles is a 2010 Jeep with 3400 miles on it. Monty delivered the vehicles at 11:45 pm in the middle of the night in a parking lot of a grocery store. We told him that we did not want to accept the vehicles at that time as it was so late and we could not see them. He told us if we did not come and get the vehicles and pay the balance of $2000 he would haul them all the way to Orlando, Fl. and dump them in a public storage lot. The 2010 Jeep had some damage on it that we did not see for a couple of days. When we did see it we got a bid to fix the damage. The total cost for the damage was $361.87. A ridiculously small amount. After 4 months of asking for payment of this small amount; Monty denies the claim. This is a case of when a vehicle is delivered in the dark of the night; it is customer beware. THE CLAIM WILL BE DENIED AND FOR THE MOST PART, THIS IS BEING DISHONEST.
