Jeff A. and Motor Movers really pulled through for me. I just moved cross country and shipped my car for the first time. I initially tried to book with Amerifreight, but it took them four days to send me a confirmation of my order, even after three calls and two e-mails. I was fed up and desperate, and then I remembered Jeff calling me and explaining how his company was no-nonsense and would get the job done for me. I called him at 4 PM on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. He picked up right away, got my order processed, and had the confirmation e-mailed to me within minutes of hanging up. He got in touch soon thereafter and told me he'd found a carrier that would pick up my car that coming Friday.

My car ended up being picked up on Saturday due to an unforeseen circumstance with the driver, and it was delivered today in great condition. The driver was extremely friendly and careful with my car. I paid $875 for transport; Jeff was kind enough to give me a student discount to help with the fee. When shopping around with other companies in my area, I'd been quoted as high as $950.

If you speak to Jeff, you'll find that he's a very honest, down-to-earth, and personable guy. I must have contacted him at least six times through phone calls, e-mails, and texts with questions. I was pretty shocked because even though he has a whole business to run, he always responded immediately and with a ton of patience. He made me feel like my order came first. I always felt welcome to ask Jeff about updates on my car and how the process worked. He definitely helped me through an extremely stressful move. What impressed me the most was that I'd left my car with my parents for pick-up, and Jeff, along with Kathy from C&K Express Lines, did a great job keeping both my dad and me informed about estimated pick-up and drop-off times. Jeff is easily one of the most professional and responsible individuals I've worked with and I am definitely recommending him to my family and friends.

There are a lot of companies out there receiving rave reviews, but after dealing in depth with two highly rated companies, I can definitely discern a difference between the quality of service. Motor Movers wins, hands down, due to their reliability and responsiveness. The car shipping process can be incredibly confusing but Motor Movers is very honest, straightforward, and easy to work with. When I move back to the west coast in three years, I won't even bother looking around - I'm going straight back to Motor Movers.
