THE AUTO TRANSPORT INDUSTRY IS NOT A SWISS WATCH. IT DOES NOT OPERATE ON TIME WITH MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY. If you expect to have your vehicle picked up and dropped off on a set day and time, and if you expect to be communicated with clearly and often, you will be disappointed.
Having said that, Laura Curto at Motor Movers was great to work with. She clearly, completely, honestly, and pleasantly explained how the industry works. She got me transport from New York to Los Angeles within 3 days of our agreeing to work together, and for a price that was $220 less than what I had been quoted by other reputable transport companies. I requested a carrier that she was familiar with and trusted and she got me that. The car arrived in good working condition without any damage. I would use her again in a heartbeat. Bottom line, she got the job done, done well, and for less than I expected to pay.
So why 4 stars instead of 5? There were some minor communication issues. What would have enabled me to give her 5 stars was a little better communication between her and the carrier which was then passed on to me, and a little better, more regular updating me on what was going on throughout the entire process, thereby making me feel like she was staying on top of my transport, and that she was on the case and looking out for me every step of the way.
