After placing a bid through an open bidding service, I received a quote back from MoveAuto.net for $749. I agreed to go with them, since several bids were for around $750, but they were promising a fuel gift card after delivery. When I agreed to the price, they took a deposit of $200, so I should have owed $549 upon delivery, right?
When the driver arrived, he said he needed another $686, or he was not leaving the car. After a lengthy call/argument with Andy at MoveAuto.net, I got nowhere and was forced to pay the extra fee, since I had a driver holding the car and I was already late getting back to work.
Finally, it has been a month now and I have not seen the fuel gift card, so I doubt this was even a legitimate offer.
In short, nobody should ever use these guys and they should be shut down.
