THIS IS VERY DECEIVING TO CLAIM THAT! Especially, WHEN YOU GOT THE CAR AND THE DISPATCH SHEET OF THE DRIVER IS SAYING DELIVERY ON THE 10TH.
Mariam,
I got through the investigation process of your case. The dispatch sheet says delivery on the 10th. The carrier accepted these conditions and had the same dispatch sheet. Even the dispatcher of the carrier, that read your story, said it’s over exaggerated.
The carrier knew that he needs to deliver it on the 10th and he was driving really fast, but he ran out of hours he is allowed to drive by hours of service rules.
All truck drivers are allowed to drive only a certain amount of hours after which they have to stop the truck and rest. Because of that he had to stop, but he was really close so he called you and offered the delivery in the morning on 11th or you can come and pick it up.
Because he was that close that you literally could get there. And you wanted to get the car on the 10th, you just went there. And got your car on the 10th as you wanted.
In these situations, customers usually prefer to call us and then we try to negotiate with a carrier a discount. You never notified us about any of that.
Antony was working out your dates with different carriers, but you needed the 10th for the delivery, not all carriers were able to do it. Antony delivered you every option and you accepted the one that was working for you.
After the delivery Antony asked you in text message if the car was delivered. And only then he found out about what happened.
I REALLY DON’T THINK THAT, the person WHO WAS NOT DRIVING THE TRUCK, who was just helping you to get this carrier, that you liked anyway, deserves to hear from you that he is ‘’THIS TERRIBLE EXCUSE OF A HUMAN BEING‘’.
ESPECIALLY, WHEN YOU GOT YOUR VEHICLE ON THE 10th.
NO ONE DESERVES TO BE CALLED “THIS TERRIBLE EXCUSE OF A HUMAN BEING”
HOW TO AVOID THESE SITUATIONS AND WHAT TO DO:
IF THE CARRIER IS GETTING LATE, CALL YOUR SHIPPING AGENT WELL BEFORE THE DELIVERY.
IF YOU NEED EXACT DATES, KNOW THAT CARRIERS ARE ALLOWED TO DRIVE THE TRUCK ONLY CERTAIN AMOUNT OF HOURS AND IF THE CARRIER IS GETTING LATE, THE ONLY ONE THING THE AGENT CAN DO, IS TO ASK HIM TO SEND YOU HIS LOCATION.
