Before I write my review, let me just state the fact that this is definitely a real review from a real human. Just stating that because if you're like me, you're probably reading the existing reviews and questioning their legitimacy. Moving on...
I had my car shipped from Atlanta, GA to Reston, VA when I moved for work purposes. When I first received the initial quote from MoverJet Logistics, I received a quote for $345. As someone who has been through a car shipping process prior to this experience, I was honestly a bit skeptical because the price just seemed too good to be true. So I took a leap of faith and went with it. Everything turned out perfectly, but the quote was just much lower than I was expecting.
The MoverJet Logistics agent I communicated with throughout this process was Ali Wilson. Ali provided great details and instructions, all of the information I would need, he gave perfect answers to any concerns or questions I had, and his communications were consistent throughout the process. Please note, the initial quote you receive may not be what you end up paying in total. My initial quote was $345, but once a driver was found for the job, the quote had to be raised to $400. From my experience, generally whatever your initial quote is, the quote you'll actually pay for the services will be the same or slightly higher. Overall, an excellent price considering the norm.
If you have a car that needs to be shipped, I highly recommend MoverJet Logistics. I also recommend requesting Ali Wilson since he was able to give me a great quote, he made the process quick and straightforward, and his customer service helped make the overall experience quite pleasant.
If I had any complaints, I'd say the drivers they dispatched didn't really stick to the documented schedule. The driver showed up a day early and delivered a day early. That wasn't necessarily a problem for me, but due to the fact that a Dry Run fee could result in a $200 lost depending on the schedule, I can see where that'd be an issue for some customers. I would recommend the drivers being more open to the customers about their whereabouts and personal schedule. Calling people people when you arrive or a few minutes prior doesn't really give the customer much flexibility with their schedule. They might not be available in those scenarios, so it would be much better to stick to the documented schedule or at least communicate more consistently. MoverJet Logistics does not use their own drivers from my experience, so that's technically not an issue that exists on their end. Though I figured I'd throw it out there to give customers a heads up.
