The worst possible experience. The prior two trips went well and had no issues. Today was a shakedown. We contracted to have a car delivered in a covered trailer as done in the past. Contract was signed and drop off location was set. At the time of delivery, the driver called and demanded the person picking up the car come AN HOUR AND A HALF away from the address they were given. Upon arrival, they then demanded payment in cash immediately. We explained the contract should have been paid in full by Moverjet, they said no and they wanted payment now. Every time I called Moverjet, I got a different person who gave me a different answer. First I had to send an email saying I authorized them to charge the card, then when that didn’t work they said they would tell the driver to invoice me, and when that didn’t work they said they couldn’t charge my credit card because they didn’t have proper authorization. This is completely false as they had already charged my card $1,000 and were refusing to pay the driver the rest. I then had to have an employee use their personal Zelle account to pay the driver, who was belligerent and demanding payment in the middle of the street. I’m embarrassed that I used this company and will absolutely never do so again. I’ve never experience worse service or anything quite like this. Absolutely a scam company.
