My car was damaged while it was in Nicks truck being transported to Flint, MI from Arroyo Grande, CA. After returning from Flint Nick promessed that all the damage would be taken care of by his insurance company. After getting estimates on the car his insurance company said that they would pay the claim except for the amount of the deductable which I would have to collect from Nick.I am now having to sue Nick to get the balance of my claim because he thinks that the insurance companies estimater estimated to much for the job. Wether the claim is $10,000 or $5000, Nick still has to pay the $1000 dollar deductable. I just do not understand. This all happened in July 2011 and I am still waiting.
