My initial contact with National Auto Shipping was prompt and courteous. They were straight forward and took good care of my request. After that, it wasn't so perfect. Wonderful Trucking Company(thats their real name) was who contacted me about the pick up.
They contacted me three days before my expected pick up date. The contact was Kathy, who was apparently the translator for her father? who would be driving my car on the first leg. They kept bugging me to give them the car sooner. Which was not convenient, and irritating. Once it was picked up, with no conversation due to the driver speaking no english, the car was put on the top of the 18 wheeler and it was gone.
A week later at my destination, I received a call saying the car would be there on Monday. On Monday I got a call that the driver had a problem and would't be there until Tuesday. Then a few hours later I got a call that it would indeed be that day, Monday. SO they said they would give me a call when the driver was close to give me a heads up since I was going to have to meet the truck at a shopping center...this brings me to an original point that we paid for DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE! Ha. Joke. I dropped it off at a center and was told I had to pick it up at their choice of locations, which was about 20 miles away.
Now the worst of it....they didn't give me any idea they were close by and just called and said "we are here", come get your car. Dropping everything I got a second driver and went to get my car. Only I couldn't recognize it. It was absolutely covered in a tar like dirt substance, I can only imagine was diesel oil? ANd I swear I couldn't even see out the windows to drive it to the nearest car wash. Once washed, it was still grimy. I am on my way to have it detailed, and have just realized that there is a dent with scratch marks that was NOT THERE when I gave them the car.
SInce Mr. I don't speak English at all made his notes about various other minor scratches and handed me a pen in the freezing cold of the day and said:You sign. I really don't have a leg to stand on to fight about this dent.
Clearly this National Auto Shipping just hires whomever to be the drivers across this vast country without giving a crap who or how the car will be handled. I would not recommend them, nor would I ever use them again, obviously. Buyer beware. I love my car. Or I would have just sold it out East and bought something else in CA. Why did I go through this? I thought they would be professional. I was wrong.

A Response to : Nancy Mcdevitt 5680 High Ridge Road - paso robles Ca 93446 609 658 3933 / 609 439 1251. First of all we did a excellent service for this client. Car was picked up on time. Driver delivered on time. This client can't understand that we are dealing with a 10 car carrier. She even got upset due to driver got held back on traffic. Also Driver called her to meet her nearby her house since he is driving a 10 CAR CARRIER and is not allowed to get in some resident neighborhoods, but again this client didn't try to understand that and only stated i paid for DOOR TO DOOR. We say Door to Door as long as the truck has access to client if not its the clients responsibility to meet him somewhere nearby. its common sense. This review is false. Non reasonable. This client received her car signed for the Bill of inspection as received. 2-3 days after she calls that their is scratches and maybe some dents on her car ( she probably did the damage and tries to blame our carrier, 3 days after delivery ) We try to please every client that books with us but in this case this customer Nancy Mcdevitt 5680 High Ridge Road - paso robles Ca 93446 609 658 3933 / 609 439 1251 It was impossible regardless of us doing a good job. She would still find a excuse to complaint. So for future clients this is a good example of a brutal review when you do a good job. For transport needs call 877-393-3232
